Blind Enthusiasm lives at the Ritchie Market where the brewery co-habits with their restaurant Biera; they’re practically inseparable with the showpiece brewhouse in a glass box adjacent to the warm industrial Biera dining room. Head brewer Rob Monk makes delicately balanced beers to match the menu created by head chef Christine Sandford, and to satisfy any beer drinker. They redesign their beer list seasonally but there are new beers popping up on the menu almost weekly. In the process of photographing many of Biera’s dishes for their seasonal menus, we learned first hand that Sanford’s food is some of the best we’ve ever had. The number of awards both the brewery and restaurant have already begun to collect are well deserved.
