Riverbend Gardens is a long term client of Rye. Over the past nine years we’ve been able to see them through their first website to managing a 500+ person weekly vegetable delivery system (Community Supported Agriculture). They grow an incredible variety of vegetables within Edmonton’s city limits and in the height of their season, attend 8 farmers’ markets every week. To help manage their inventory, we built them an inventory app that allows the tracking and comparison of sales data about what crops sell best at which market and when. This helps them make real world decisions about what they’re bringing to their market tables which increases their revenue, decreases their food waste and influences what crops to grow more or less of.
From online product promotion to everyday communication management, telling the story of this labour intensive family farm is a pleasure!
