Greenwood Distillers may be a new name on the Alberta craft beverage scene, but food lovers in Edmonton have been familiar with some of the names behind this brand for years. When Owen Petersen closed up his Prairie Mill Bread bakery in SW Edmonton, he broke hearts. But we’d been hearing him and his wife Bronwyn talk about a distillery for years and so it’s been fantastic to watch them make it a reality with their business partners, Dan & Dallas.
We’ve walked with them through first brand concept to first product execution and they’ve made it enjoyable and fun every step of the way. Greenwood makes seriously amazing product without taking themselves too seriously and they do it in a down to earth, small town style that reflects where they live and work.
